In fact, we’ve made “yes” into something of a philosophy at Passalacqua, which is why we called our private dining experiences Dimmidisì, our creative take on the Italian for “just say yes.” Don’t let the name fool you, they’re not just for proposals. They will, however, put you and your guests into a “yes” frame of mind, no matter what the occasion. Whether you choose our private dining room with its elaborate stucco decorations or a secluded site in our Italian garden, our team will take care of everything else. Expect flower arrangements by our resident florist and Viviana Varese’s most romantic recipes, shimmering candles and the lake spread out before you. But we also have a host of friends and suppliers—who share our philosophy of yes!—on call to provide for special touches your guests might never expect.
For a family or friend reunion, Casa al Lago with two rooms and two junior suites hidden under the trees of our lower garden terrace is the perfect celebratory spot. The on-site kitchen and dining room as well as the secluded terraces attached to each accommodation mean everyone in your party can enjoy the together time as much as the me-time, all while the lake is literally lapping at your feet. 

Beyond the Property – Experiences on the lake

Though we believe Passalacqua is an ideal spot for meaningful celebrations more about passion than pageantry, the lake we love offers a host of other locations and experiences that will make your celebrations sing. Our exclusive range of adventures and encounters—flightseeing in a helicopter maybe? Or cruising the mountain roads in a vintage Alfa Romeo?—make for memorable moments. Kitchen on the outskirts of Como town says I love you in refined, Michelin-starred plates; Grand Hotel Tremezzo, just a quick boat ride away, dresses up every occasion in Belle Epoque glitz; and for something completely different, there is Villa Sola Cabiati.
